The Holiday Inn Express in Arras was perfectly fine and reasonably priced. The breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day. Its location was excellent, right across the street from the train station and within easy walking 10 minute distance of the town’s main squares.

Had a really nice stay in a family room. Parking out the back with no height limit ;we had a roof box etc), but it’s an additional 20E for overnight stays. 20 being the max for that length of stay. Had some nice crepes in Arras for dinner which was an easy walk. Well stocked bar at the hotel open until 1am.

The AC was very good, which was so important during the heat wave, and I liked the shower because the shower door closed completely which prevented water from getting all over the bathroom floor. In addition, the floor of the shower was not slippery the way most shower floors are.

The room was spacious, and the balcony had a really nice view. The breakfast was good, with a great selection of food. The arcade on the ground floor was very entertaining and exciting, and our family really enjoyed it. The car park is secure with plenty of spaces available. Just keep in mind that you need to pay for your parking at reception to receive the discounted rate. All the staff were helpful, polite, and very welcoming, especially when they gave our child a small bag of goodies, which was a lovely touch. This was our second stay at the hotel, and we would definitely come back again.
