"This was probably a one-off situation that could have been avoided with proper advance notice. In the week leading up to our arrival, we received three notifications asking us to check in and pay for our stay—this was confusing, as I had already paid. Once I replied stating that I would settle any remaining balance at check-in, the notifications stopped. Upon arrival, it was clear the hotel was preparing to host a wedding. "Super nuit dans ce gîte, les hôtes ont été très chaleureux et conviviaux. Repas excellent pris en leur présence et échanges riches et intéressant. La chambre et la literie nous ont permis de passer une très bonne nuit avant de faire le piton de la fournaise. Un petit déjeuner nous a été préparé pour cet événement. Nous reviendrons certainement.
