"We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision.
The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is...

"Great location. 10 minutes walk away from the city centre and away from the noise. Clean room and the dry sauna was a bonus. Will definitely come back again."

"we had a lake view room and really enjoyed our stay. the views were stunning and the doors/windows were nice and thick blocking most of the airplane/boat noise. the room was very spacious with we enjoyed the gas fireplace heater for added ambience. everything was clean and the staff were friendly. bathroom is a bit dated (cracked tiles, loose showerhead) but still overall would recommend and would stay again."

"Nice location in a new development. Short walk to shops or restaurants or quick drive. Nice new Hotel. Room was well appointed with small kitchenette and there was a small convenience store downstairs. Service was lacking with late and irregular room cleaning, had to chase several days in just to refresh essentials. Also had a very noisy heat pump or plumbing running through the room with constant water/gurgling sounds that was just not acceptable for such a new build. Would not stay here again...

"The location was excellent being walking distance to main downtown areas. However, the room was not as clean as we had hoped for. We found a beanie under the couch, there were moth balls on the ceilings, and our heater wasn’t working the first night. Overall, customer service was good but we were just a bit disappointed in the overall cleanliness."
