It was quiet season so think we were the only ones staying so unfair to judge too harshly. There was a wasp nest a few metres from the room but didn't worry us as it is Sri Lanka after all. "We loved Spice Trail and would compare the experience to a boutique hotel. Within Arugam Bay there is a big mix of backpacker / surfer accommodation but this was a cut above. Our room was extremely spacious and stylishly decorated with exceptionally good aircon and lovely bathroom.
