"we had a suite room and it was beautiful with amazing views, the only thing to let it down was the pillows they was so big and hard we didn't sleep, spa was nice we did the mud treatment and that was very fun, it is very dated and needs some new paint work in the spa but apart from that is was lovely. "Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. Shampoo and soaps provided were high end and good quality. Bed was large and comfortable and staff were happy to bring an extra duvet. Breakfast was tasty, cafetière coffee was excellent and the chef cooking and serving breakfast was polite and friendly. Overall a lovely stay, with a large comfy bed and great food"

"When we first arrived we were given a room in the annex and unfortunately the room was very dusty. However, we spoke with a member of staff and they moved us to a room in the main building which was nicer but once again very dusty. We were rest assured if we could give them half hour they would clean the room top to bottom which they did! We went back and it was perfect and everything was amazing. Breakfast was great and upon checking out we were told all the rooms would be getting checked over for any other possible issues. Overall it was a lovely stay with a little hiccup that was resolved promptly "

"Booked for 2adults and 1 child (10) arrived and was told the room booked was not suitable and had to pay more for a bigger room 1st impression was good however the smell of sewage or drain from the bathroom was nearly unbearable and too top it off we had a early start so got up at 0630 and not a drop of hot water from the shower or sink so cold strip wash it was Very disappointed for the price Room 10 "

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect privacy. They welcomed me with a bowl of biscuits and fruit when I first arrived and on my departure asked if there was anything they could do to better. I could not think of a single thing to improve my experience."
