"This is a great hotel in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable. Price point is very high but I guess you pay for that view. Complementary breakfast and ride into town in a vintage classic vehicle was nice."

"Property is dated but they are working on it. Main thing for us was work crews started at 7am. Very loud outside. There is a weird smell in the lobby and elevators. Room was ok, but bed was creaky. Although not the fault of the hotel. Seaside isn't what it used to be. Very dirty beach now."

"This was the 2nd time my daughter and I have stayed here. We love the location because of the convenience to explore Astoria and the Northern coastal area of Oregon. The hotel is always clean and the breakfast is something we always like to take advantage of as well. The staff is very helpful and the check in/out process is painless. We will be returning."

They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as Smart TVs, WiFi and updated bathroom facilities. In Astoria, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
