"I’ve been here a few times. There was some construction going on outside that would wake me up each day. The provided ear plugs were useful. In my experience, the rooms with a bathroom tend to be quieter than the smaller rooms with shared bathroom. They’re all comfy and close to a lot of Astoria attractions. No TVs in the room, but you can borrow a turntable and listen to a record."

"room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. tv is a hospital-style monitor, but has a dvd player built in and they have an assortment on a shelf in the lobby you can watch. sound travels in this old building, so you’re able to hear neighbors above you and on your floor walking around and using the showers/bathroom. they do provide earplugs in the room, but if you’re sensitive to this, it may not be for you. otherwise, the shared bathrooms/showers were clean and stocked. there was...

"Great place to stay— right by a pier with great food and coffe!! Also the river walk go right by it and it isn’t to busy of an area in Astoria!! It is peaceful — great place!!"

"We got the king suit which was the last room on the 3rd floor that’s next to the water. You could on occasion hear the sea lions but they were not so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Hardly bothered us at all. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean with great staff. Overall a great stay and would comeback! Also the trolley stops right in front of the BW, super convenient to go into town."

"They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. "The Bowline was genuinely beautiful. The room was great, and the balcony view of the river was so peaceful. The in-room bathtub was perfect for relaxing, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The fireplace is controlled by the thermostat, which made it really easy to turn on and made the room feel extra cozy. My only slight confusion was the “resort fee.” It’s only $15, but this definitely isn’t a traditional resort with a pool, gym, spa, etc. That said, there is a barrel sauna...

"I had a wonderful getaway at the arch. Within walking distance of the beach/boardwalk, shopping and coffee. My room was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be back."

"Great room! We had the 2 room suite. 2 adults, 3 teen boys, 1 mid sized dog, plenty of space! The room was very clean and well laid out. There was also this cute basket with things to use for your dog during your stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, we will be staying again! I would highly recommend this property. "Clean and recent facelift. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Beds and bedding vey nice. Our room was on backside of building. Virtually no traffic noise. Property nicely located near middle of the main drag. Just across the street from the Cottage Bakery, a must to visit, and next door to the "famous" Marsh free Museum and gift shop. A Pacific Nortthwest landmark for many decades. "

"Staff was super friendly, quick to check in and it is in such a easy place to park, and walk to food, gyn, and other things. Clean and large rooms and love the outdoors aspect of the place. Breakfast was great, in a big room and lots of options from Waffles, to cereal, eggs, potatoes, Biscuit and gravy, Hard Boiled eggs, coffee, juice.. your normal full breakfast options. Internet is fast for work access. Great place, will stay again when I am in the area!"
