"We were so surprised to see all rooms are ON the waterfront! So many seabirds and cargo ships coming and going during the day..if you're a boat/water person, this is a GREAT place. Room had everything we needed. Would definitely come back."

Our teen boys LOVED the daily breakfast, and our 7 year old was constantly watching the birds on the shoreline and the ships going by. Small but clean and saltwater(!) pool. One person working the bar could have been more pleasant - dark-headed girl. Smiling would help out a lot. We loved it there. "Expedia assured there was parking within the compound but when I got there at 7:30 I had to leave my van loaded with valuable equipment in front of a restaurant and right on the sidewalk. I hauled the most. precious items into my room and was not broken into but felt misled. I did not sleep well worrying about the van, especially considering the large number of homeless camps nearby"

"Pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, and it was like a little apartment. It was clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Definitely one of the better places we have stayed! The only minor things that could be improved on is the lighting in the living room / kitchen area was pretty dim, and the soap / shower gel / shampoo dispensers in the bathroom did not dispense very much at a time so it was difficult to get a reasonable amount. "When we drove up to this hotel, we almost drove away. The exterior is poorly maintained and looks dilapidated. We decided to give the room a try. It was better, although dated and seemed quite clean. We needed help with the TV and the young man from the counter was very helpful. Our room was facing the bridge and quite scenic. It was near the end of the riverwalk and a bit sketchy.No problems though. I would not stay here again."

"Parking was easy and safe. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel. The trolley that takes you to town was a plus! Enjoyed watching the ships that were on the river. "

"Everything was first rate, from the linens, to the bed, to the home itself, to the delicious breakfasts, to the game room in the basement, and especially the friendliness of Candy and Ken. You will not be dissapointed. They also own the "Salty Dog" fishing charter boat if that's on your agenda."

"The location was great. It was quiet and very you had a clean conditions. The one thing I would say could use improvement was the pub closed at 8:00 pm. I am a night owl so I usually take an afternoon nap then wake up later, so around 9:00 pm I would like to go out and get a drink but it was unavailable to make it worse, Ilwaco itself doesnt have much in terms of eatery ie. no McDonalds. "Well we started by booking a room online. The pictures and reviews looked good/ok. When we go there he informed us that the room just needed to be vacuumed but we could put our things in the room. So we went in and wow. That room was nothing like the photos online on your webpage. There was carpet all throughout the place and pics showed hardwood floor type ground probably linoleum.
