"Moto-Hakone guest house is a great place to stay! Super close to the Hakone free pass attractions and in a beautiful area in general. The host is amazing! So kind and attentive. Rooms were large as well and very clean. Great place!"

"It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!"

"The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. "
