Yes, the price and location are great. However, don’t be fooled! This hotel is not maintained well, dirty, and only profitable because of unsuspecting UGA parents such as myself who were enticed by the low price for a game day weekend. Do yourself a favor and pay the higher price to stay somewhere else in Athens or drive 20 minutes to a nearby town. I’ll never stay here again!

Location is perfect when attending a UGA football game. It’s walking distance which was the reason for our stay. The hotel said 2 day stay required during football season. However, the room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke that we had raging headaches while inside the room. For non-smokers, it was the worst experience. It was so bad we left early due to our reaction to the odor.

This hotel is so run down and dirty. Our non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and dirty feet. The toilet wouldn’t flush & when we went to check the flusher the tank was covered in black mold. The carpets are super dirty too. With the insane amount they charge on UGA game weekends, you’d think they could deep clean, paint, repair it. Also, even though check out is at 11am, your key stops working early in the morning of check out. So if you even go to your car for something, it will take a trip to the office clerk to get back into your room.

It was good for needing a place to rest our head after the concert. It could definitely use work on cleanliness.

This hotel (if we can even call it that !) was disgusting. Dirty towels / dirty sheets / dirty floors / spackle fixes with no sanding everywhere , furniture looked like it came from a bad garage sale . Walls dirty , bathroom stained sink counter , shower curtain bar barely holding on , paint all over handles , door . Mirror in bathroom held on by cork . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone .. even if on a budget , drive further away from campus and stay somewhere else . And after first walking in I thought he made a mistake and gave me a smoking room cause all I can smell from first step in room was cigarette smoke ! He said no u have a non smoking room but people smoke in hallway and smell gets into room ! Absolute lies ! This room was 100 % smoked in and smoked a lot .. smell never went away . He actually came in with a spray bottle sprayed TWO sprays in air and said that should help !! Take a guess if it helped … DID NOT HELP AT ALL . Also at check in (through a window with woman (who barely spoke English ) said sorry computers down . Come back later . So o had to wait in my car for an hour .. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

For the price in this area, it was a great place to stay, almost 1/2 of other hotels that same weekend. Not sure about other times of the year when conventions may be in town. Overall I was happy with my stay.
