The location in central Athens is perfect, just a short walk to the Omonia subway station, which connects you to everything. It's only one or two stops to the Acropolis, but you can walk there too. The hotel has a modern and appealing look. I was travelling solo, and my room was spacious enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the cold lemonade they offered at check-in, especially when it was 35 degrees outside, was a brilliant touch - THANK YOU!
The breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop view added to the experience. I had read some reviews and noticed myself that the area might seem a little intimidating due to some homeless people (apparently) congregating on the adjacent streets. However, I quickly realized that they were harmless. I saw many tourists, including single women, walking around without any issues. The presence of visible police crews at all times of the day gave me reassurance, so I don't believe there's a genuine concern to worry about.
