"Clean and modestly but tastefully appointed room on the smaller side but comfortable. Room felt a bit humid on arrival due to dripping bathroom faucet that hasn’t been closed properly. Fixed quickly by running the a/c on dry mode. No complaints!"

"This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. "We were in the area for a wedding and stayed a few extra days at The Amelia. We loved the hotel and had a huge 1 bedroom suite on the top floor. It felt like staying in someone’s personal home. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was kept tidy daily. There is a small kitchen area stocked with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. "The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive.
