"Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora is a beautiful property that perfectly captures a relaxing getaway vibe, making it an ideal choice for couples seeking a peaceful retreat. The hotel’s design is stunning, featuring a lovely bar right in the lobby that serves as a great focal point for unwinding. One of the standout features is the outdoor seating area overlooking the river, which includes built-in foot baths.a thoughtful and incredibly relaxing touch that allows you to soak while enjoying the natural surroundings. Throughout the stay, the staff were very nice and accommodating, further enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy a paid breakfast buffet that offers a great deal of variety. While the rooms are notably spacious, there are a few aspects regarding the room descriptions that felt a little misleading. Although the rooms are advertised as having a private onsen, the bath is essentially a regular soaking tub rather than a traditional mineral hot spring. Additionally, travelers should be aware that not all rooms provide the scenic river views often showcased during the booking process. In our case, the view from the bath faced the parking lot, which was a bit of a letdown as it required keeping the windows and blinds closed at all times for privacy. Although I didn't get to experience the public hot springs and cannot speak to those facilities, the overall quality of the hotel remains high. A great destination for those looking for a modern escape."

"The outside private onsen is really just big enough for one. The rooms are kind of small. Food is very good and drinks are available for all tastes. I am gold vip and was supposed to get a 5600 yen credit that never materialized. The room price included dinner but they listed credit separately. Apparently this is confusing English translation. I eventually got that the room prices include 5600 yen dinner. Not credit. They should probably clean up the deception in the promotion. Just put bundle price. Otherwise nice hotel and spa. "

"Burna ubicación, justo enfrente de varias estaciones de tren y metro. Vista increíble de la rueda de la fortuna (cargo extra) y el puerto. Las habitación estaba muy pequeña, tenia un olor extraño. Amenidades bien, y con sistema de imanes para indicar si se requiere limpieza o no. Usamos el TAQBIN y recibieron nuestras maletas un día antes, todo bien hasta ahí. Check in eficiente, con terminales. Desafortunadamente el check out fue un caos, el staff estaba corriendo y el servicio fue terrible. Algunas de nuestras maletas seguían en storage, ya qué en la habitación no había espacio, la persona que me atendió, entre la diferencia de idioma y su estrés por la larga línea, no se detuvo a ayudarme y seguía mandándome al 7Eleven ya qué solo vio mi recibo de TAQBIN. Me tuve que volver a formar, esperar, hablar con otra persona (inglés un poco mejor), qué le pregunto a la chica anterior, que seguía mandándonos a otro lado. Al final tuve que actuar firme y pedirle que revisara sus storage locations, obviamente las maletas estaban ahí y al final pudimos recogerlas. Recomendación: usar google translate o cualquier app de este tipo. Y esperar o seguir preguntado."

"as a british traveler, it was a challenge to face the language barrier however the staff at slash did a great job at fulfilling any requests. great rooms, great service, amazing breakfast!! if anyone i know plans a japan trip, i will recommend this hotel"

"Exceptional, superb, sublime - these are a few words I would use to describe our stay at Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki. We stayed for a total of 8 nights. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful to tourists like us and made us feel welcomed and safe. We enjoyed the restaurant, gym, and common laundry area. Housekeeping was the best I have ever experienced - they were prompt, kind, and helpful as well. During our stay we asked for more coffee packets, room cleaning, towels, etc and everything was completed quickly. Every question I had for the front desk about japan, customs, and advice was treated with patience and respectful and positivity (which was super nice for foreigners like us). I can not say enough good things about this hotel. One taller front staff gentleman even helped us with our luggage and getting us a cab when we were leaving for the airport. Thank you! I hope the entire staff as well as their bosses receive raises and are treated well. To the top brass - please take care of them because they deserve it. We will be back."

"This is a fantastic hotel with so much history. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and the facilities with the onsen, the garden, the bar, the lounge- everything is so lovely. They even upgraded our room view which was very nice. The only odd thing was a particular waitress that were serving us in the Japanese restaurant and also in the breakfast hall the next day. She was insistent on us buying a sake pairing when we didn’t want to. For the breakfast she also insisted we buy the breakfast package even though we had already ordered something else. I also found it odd that she gave us the bill before we had finished eating and she seemed to forget about our breakfast for 40 minutes. Other than that, it was absolutely amazing. The rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and professional. "
