"The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and awesome! Officially this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! "The room was clean. Although the pool wasn’t heated and a bit dirty. Breakfast was okay, not anything special I’d say for $300 a night I expected more. Expedia also says there is a $20 parking fee. They charge you at the front desk at check in this “fee” which includes parking and amenities which are just like cucumber lemon water and these very small smoothies glasses by the front door. The fee turned out to be $120. I think for the price staying here wasn’t worth it. Although staff was kind."
