"This hotel gave me the ick from the moment I arrived. We had to change rooms twice because of a terrible odor. The rooms were surprisingly small for a queen bed, especially considering how the hotel is advertised and the price per night.
The phones in the room didn’t work, the towels were old and worn, and the rooms felt dated. For a hotel that’s marketed as being somewhat upscale, it fell well short of expectations.

"Great hotel. Great location. Pool area was relaxing. Cool to be right on sunset Blvd and look out at the Hollywood hills from the pool area Bed comfortable. Staff efficient and polite. It’s the “Riot Hyatt” where all the rock stars would stay and my teens thought that was pretty cool. Easy access to Rodeo Drive, Grove, Hollywood (Toussades, walk of fame, etc,), 25 min uber to Santa Monica pier (if not in rush hour times) Will stay here again next time we are in Los Angeles. "We love this hotel! So beautiful, the rooms are unique and the staff are accommodating. Location is the best, close to all the great spots along sunset, Santa Monica and Melrose. Only issue is the extra costs added after I had thought I paid an all in price. It’s a pricey stay."
