"PROs: The staff was fantastic, the room gave me a view to their pool, while I didn’t use it it was clean and visited by some guests. Everything was in working order and their body wash, shampoo and everything else smelled nice. They even had Makeup remover wipes and lots of mirrors. The towels and washcloths were soft and white. The breakfast offered eggs, sausage and patties, waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, pastries, bagels, bread, variety of juices, teas and coffee, grits and cereals....

"The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. "The room was spacious and clean. Limited amenities, but sufficient for my needs. The continental breakfast, was a continental breakfast. Very limited options, but I did not need a lot. Had apple juice only coffee and milk. Staff was present and receptive to my needs. Very helpful and responded immediately. Not an expensive hotel so that was a plus for making my a reservation there. Parking very convenient. Close to a lot of restaurants."

"This was an extremely disappointing experience. The hotel lobby gave a decent first impression, but the moment we got up the stairs, it was obvious we could not stay there. The bed had visible stains and hair on the sheets, which immediately made us question whether the bedding had even been changed between guests. The toilet was filthy with poop around the seat!
