Great room with a view over the village. Unfortunately being January and -3° we were unable to sit out and make the most of it. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was probably the best we have ever had.

This is our second time staying at this hotel - it is a great choice when in Flåm. The breakfast is fantastic, with many options. The views from the hotel are beautiful, and the staff friendly.

Lovely old hotel with lots of history which was beautiful to stay in. We had a loft room with a lovely bay window to look out across the town as the snow came down. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The only area that could do with some love was the bathroom which felt a bit tired. Breakfast had lots of variety, including some traditional Norweigian options. Overall a lovely place to stay and I would recommend, it was also great to slow down on the journey from Oslo to Bergen and spend time in Flam

Great Stay

Great stay. Older style hotel but rooms decent sized and beds comfortable. Good buffet breakfast. Great location- easy walk when arriving by train and easy to get to the ferry.

Nice hotel located very close to the fjord cruises. A few good dining options nearby if you don’t want to eat at the hotel restaurant. Everything in Flam is a bit expensive as it’s a tourist spot. But a beautiful location to visit, and a lovely hotel to stay in.

My stay was wonderful! The hotel's location near the train station and cruise dock was ideal. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a quiet, dark room ensured a restful stay. The only drawback was the lack of bedside power outlets.

The bed was so comfortable with the cleanest sheets. The included breakfast was excellent! It is expensive because of the location, but a good option for an overnight stay. We stayed in the family room and it was quite spacious and looked like the pictures.
