very old hotel. the restaurant and lobby area were renovated and acceptable. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonable. But the rooms were like old motels from the 70s for the price of a 5 star modern hotel. note that this was the best hotel in Flam area with a prime location. So, this answers why it is so over priced and explains why the owners have no motivation for improvements. They charge for any small requests that are typically granted at other hotels like late checkout fee for over 30minutes stay, and parking fee even though there are plenty of space outside. The only positive thing was that there is a laundry and drying machine on premises.

Unbelievable views in a fairytale town. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Great food, cute room, friendly staff, and the most convenient location to enjoy the wonders that Flam has to offer. I’d recommend this stay to anyone. Flam is well-worth a visit!

Ideal location to watch the sunshine on the surrounding mountains while enjoying a refreshing beverage after a day of hiking, biking, zip lining and floating sauna/cold plunge.
