I am leaving this review solely due to a serious guest safety issue, not because of booking or pricing concerns.
On January 21, 2026, around 11:50 PM CST, while staying at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Round Rock, Texas, I experienced aggressive, hostile, and threatening behavior from the nighttime front desk employee. The interaction escalated to a point where I genuinely feared for my personal safety while inside the hotel.
When I attempted to de-escalate the situation and asked the employee to identify himself so the incident could be properly documented, he refused to provide his name, stating that he did not have to give it. That refusal, combined with the employee’s behavior, only increased my concern and left me without any immediate way to report the individual involved.
This incident had nothing to do with Expedia or the booking process. The issue was entirely related to the conduct of a hotel employee and the unsafe environment that resulted from it.
I have stayed in many hotels over the years and have never encountered behavior like this from a front desk employee. Guests should be able to feel safe in a hotel, especially late at night. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
I hope management and the brand take this seriously and ensure that future guests are not placed in a similar situation.
