"It was my first visit to The Porter House and I was generally happy with my stay. I had asked for a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator, which they were able to accommodate. It was a lovely touch to see my name displayed on the TV when we entered the room, and a bottle of wine and a hand-written card. It's the little things that made the stay enjoyable. "Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Very clean and well appointed room. Friendly, helpful staff. Appreciated the focus on sustainability (reusable water bottles in the room, filtered water station on each floor, reusable cloth shopping bag in each unit). Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and shopping areas including Darling Harbour and Barangaroo. Really enjoyed our stay very much!"

"We stayed for 6 nights at 2 bed and 1 bath apartment. Friendly people at reception. Very good location, many restaurants, cafe and bakeries nearby. Walking distance to shopping district, Sea Life, King Street wharf,etc. There were fitness center and pool, free to use for Skye suites guests. All good except the vallet parking fee is on the high side. "
