"Highly recommend staying at Amalu Resort! We stayed at the Tiny House for my birthday and they made sure to make it extra special! You can tell the owners have gone to extra lengths with all of the little details. The concierge Aaron even greeted us with a warm welcome, stocked fridge, warm hot tub, and ice bucket of champagne! "What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."
