Let me start off by saying that Joan, Ronald and the rest of staff are simply amazing. I don't think I've ever met management as kind and as hands on as this one, they practically make you feel as if you're family.

Our standard Queen room was small but high-ceilinged, stylish, and comfortable. Sleep was disturbed a bit by street noise and bright light outside door. Very good breakfast, my favorite gallo pinto of our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Hotel is one of the larger & newer ones in town. Glad to support the social impact mission.

Staff were all so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay… and helpful with any questions we had about the area. They made us feel at home. Coffee and water was always available in dining area and breakfast each morning was lovely - orange juice, fruit, toast and jam with a selection of 4 different breakfasts. Tours could be arranged and shops and restaurants were all close by- lovely relaxing place to stay

We stayed here for three nights on our first stop in this beautiful country. The hotels location is up on a hill giving you a stunning view from your room and the breakfast/common area. You are just a very short walk away from a central town arwa filled with shops and delicious restaurants. The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable, everything you need for relaxing after your adventures. The staff are phenomenal; friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with helping book anything from a tour to a taxi. The breakfast provided was the perfect way to start the day, not only are they hearty and healthy to keep you fueled but so so delicious. This hotel also helps the youth in Monteverde and education as well as being environmentally friednly. If we ever get the honour of being able to visit Costa Rica again we will fornsure booking here again. Thank you to all of the staff for everything you do.

Beautiful hotel and great staff.I was a little disappointed that I was given wrong information about needing to take my passport to the cliud forest when it was not required and as a result I lost it there. Always leave your documents in your room. Take a picture, that's all you wiil ever need.

Beautiful hotel! New, clean, modern. It's really 5 minutes to the city center. I think it's not quite suitable for people with mobility problems, since it's on a hill, but there are rooms at the front desk level. Delicious breakfasts.

No pool, hot tub etc. No AC no TV. Lots of steps, no ramps on very steep heel. I was hurt and it was very uncomfortable getting around. You have to pick your time for breakfast, and as you can imagine most early times were taken. Needs a buffet of sorts.

This was a wonderful hotel. Can't say enought good things about it. When we checked in we were told the story of the hotel's social responsibility. During our stay the staff and managers were very friendly and hospitable. They joined in my Kids' excitement of seeing birds and animals on our hikes. Our room on check-in had an issue and they switched us right away, later letting us know that the issue was dealt with an resolved. During our stay we were given multiple restaurant recommendations which were wonderful and very welcome. The hotel had a common seating area with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available for purchase, coffee, tea and water available at all times, board games, books and colouring pencils available. We bought some fruit from the local market and were able to use their kitchen area and plates to prepare it. The location of the hotel is very convenient and offers a beautiful view of the cloud forest and town of Santa Elena. We joked that we would on our next vacation based on the location of this hotel chain. We felt comfortable, safe and felt we were responsible tourists in assisting with their social change. We are coming home with a amazing memories wonderful piece of art sold at the hotel from amlocal artist. Thank you so much for everything.

Great location, close to a lot of restaurants and Santa Elena downtown, and point of interest Very friendly and helpful staff Great breakfast, clean room Cons: the building c I stayed is close to the road and bit noisy. They do provide earplugs though. One night we smelled poop could be the eco tank nearby, good thing that only happened one night. And the big windows is facing the corridor which means there’s no privacy if you open the curtains

Very modern, stylish hotel with innovative interiors. The location is convenient, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff is warm and friendly, which made the stay even better. The lobby has a chic, modern café vibe, and the glass walls offer a beautiful view of the outside. Room is very clean. The morning cook-to-order breakfast was a great touch- fresh and delicious

Nice bright rooms with great views. Room was small but very well designed, so we felt comfortable. The staff was great. They have a few breakfast options to choose from. Food was made and served with care. That homemade jam was to die for. No microwave or refrigerator or hairdryer- but I am pretty sure staff would have helped if we needed any of that. Easy walk to the town.

Modern well appointed hotel. Friendly welcome at reception. Lovely rooms looking across to the Cloud Forest. A good breakfast is only meal provided at the hotel though there are drinks (both non alcoholic and non alcoholic) available and coffee is on tap. There are plenty of good restaurants in St Elena a short walk away. The Dutch couple managing the Corazon were very forthcoming and interesting in explaining the ethos of the hotel and the way it seeks to integrate with the community and share its amenities. Uber’s are scarce though the hotel sorted a taxi to the Cloud Forest 8KCRC and at the other end a “greeter” sorted out the return 7KCRC. Thoroughly enjoyed our albeit short 2 night stay at the Corazon.
