First, the positives - the location is convenient, the front desk staff is friendly and it’s an affordable accommodation. When we arrived to our room around noon, we found the toilet to be absolutely filthy - there was human waste in it and it clearly had not been cleaned. "The place is reasonably priced. My primary complaint is that my room’s air conditioner did not work. They were supposedly booked and could not provide another room. The did provide one of the many fans they have as a solution. Unfortunately, hot air with fans congest me. No refrigerator in the room. It was not too difficult to survive for one night."

"Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber. Das Zimmer zwar recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Allerdings war der Aufenthalt nicht besonders einladend: Auf dem Flur roch es durchgehend unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstück war leider eine herbe Enttäuschung – sehr lieblos und qualitativ schlecht. Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks und des Geruchs im Flur würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen."

"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated w all new fixtures. The garden patio was out of a movie. Beds were king size and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with more attention to detail. And the town is the most perfect medieval town I have seen in France. We had dinner at Henri IV square...
