"The building is very nicely appointed. The room was spacious with all amenities including a towel warmer. We enjoyed the location near the Civil Rights Museum. Staff was very warm and welcoming."

"The rooms were disgusting. We were moved to 3 different rooms before we found one that were okay! And I do mean only okay! Definitely not worth the price. One of the rooms didn’t even have a fitted sheet on the bed. Shower was disgusting with mold around them and even hair left in the shower. I would never recommend this location."

"I arrived to a filthy shower a toilet with pee and poop on the seat. A filthy microwave and refrigerator. A broken A.C and window. Grime all on the floors and no towels… I requested cleaning supplies tha i never got. I had to go out and get my own as well as towels and a fan. The other guest were loud throughout the night arguing and fighting. People smoking with their doors open. The TV only had three channels and the picture kept jumping. Me and my daughter who i was visiting was constantly...

"Best hotel I've stayed in a long time - such character, spacious, clean and the food was excellent. My favorite part was a little kitchen area for guests with tea & coffee, drinks, snacks, home made cookies each afternoon. Highly recommend the Fairview Inn. "

"To begin with when I went to check in I was told that even though I had made the reservation AND paid for everything online I was asked to pay another $50 deposit on top of that. We get to the third floor and step off the elevator and it’s HOT! Like 80 degrees or more in the hallways. I open the door to the room and it’s even hotter in there!! And it stinks!! The AC was not even on in the room. We turned it on and hot air was all it was blowing. I asked the front desk about it and she told me to...

"Rooms where dirty. Dead roaches and mosquitoes in the room. One room smelled like smoke (non-smoking room) and the other smelled like sewage. Feet were dirtier after walking across their floor than they were after traveling all day. Do not recommend."

"It was a nice hotel I stayed here with my kids. The only downfall was that it didn't come with breakfast. However it had a restaurant where the kids ate free and the food was amazing. We'd stay here again."

"At a first glance, the LEDs were nice, but became annoying since there was no way to fully turn them off when we wanted. There were no actual lights by the jacuzzi. The bed creaked loudly at light movements. The thermostat said it was 65° inside when it most definitely was not. The bed pillows were small and uncomfortable. There were roaches in the bathroom shower. The smart TV was nice to have. The jacuzzi worked fine, although the water pressure could've been higher to fill it quicker...

"room had no remote, the stove didn't work, no microwave, there were dirty underwear in the nightstand. I brought it up to the desk, they gave me a remote, told me 2 of the burners worked, told me not every room has microwaves, and left the underwear in the hall after I put it in a garbage bag."
