"I can’t say enough positives about this property! We stayed in the La Chambre de Marie Janelle. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet. Getting to the property can be challenging but well worth the effort. I will say this property is NOT for those with any kind of mobility issues. There is no elevator and our room was on third floor. "Overnight stop on way to ferry so room on second floor was fine and private off road parking appreciated. Usual amenities with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Dinner served in enclosed charming outdoor terrace area and beautifully cooked food although a plethora of bouche amusants offered in addition to three course menu which bordered on unnecessary. It seems that smoking on such a dining terrace is still normal in France as it is open to the air. Breakfast was good for pastries...
