The Lodge at the Denmark Hotel

"The parking lot is in need of significant maintenance, as there were numerous potholes throughout the area. We were assigned a room at the back of the property, and parking was somewhat difficult when parking closer to the room. Since the parking area is unpaved, I had to park farther away and carry our suitcases to the room.
The shower setup was also problematic, as water ran excessively and soaked the floor mat after just one use. Additionally, there were no staff interactions during our stay, which made the overall experience feel less inviting. The location though was convenient. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean."

"The Room was excellent for a beach location in a reasonably remote Area. The Breakfast is unbelievably Good , incredible !.
We had an issue with our overall Trip due to a Storm. The Host - “ Anna “ was incredibly Helpful to us sorting out some alternative arrangements. I would recommend a stay at Windrose if you find yourselves in “ Denmark “."

"Luxurious, clean, well appointed room and amenities. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The self served breakfast is a great start to the day. The complimentary sweet treats to have with your tea or coffee and/or a port in the evening were a nice touch. "

"Property is great, but massive downside is no WiFi. This should be flagged at top of listing - a note for the owners and Hotels.com/Expedia. Some people may want a place with no WiFi, so it can be a selling point too. But this place has very poor mobile phone reception too. For a combined holiday with the need to do some work, this just didn't work. The owners also highlighted the TV, which only had basic channels despite being a smart TV. The place was spotless, but relatively basic. The check in and check out instructions were too threatening and old-style holiday camp telling off, rather than a welcoming holiday retreat. If you need a family place by the beach this might be for you. "
