Bad Saarow was originally a small town consisting of a few villages and 225 people. However, the city grew over time as wealthy residents from Berlin moved to the area when they discovered the mud baths and beauty of the natural landscape. A number of country homes and villas were built, and the city soon became a popular spot for holiday trips from Berlin.
While you are in Bad Saarow, try the city’s main attraction: the baths. For specialized saltwater hot spring treatments, stay at SaarowTherme, a popular spa resort.
