"The photos do not do the resort justice, the place is stunning, the staff exceptionally friendly and customer focused. Plenty to do on site, nature trails for example are really worth it, lots of water based activities (snorkelling, kayaking, etc. Good selection of resturants and bars. We would come back again tomorrow. "

"Went to celebrate my birthday and what a week. The room was very clean and spacious,the staff was amazing, always greeting us with a smile. Thank you for making my birthday special by gifting me a birthday cake/song at breakfast, you made my day. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of food and lots of options but the fruit station was by far my favourite. Will definitely recommend and return to this hotel"

"If you are looking for oasis of peace and quiet right in the jungle while enjoying modern room with pool, ocean view, garden and tasty breakfast- this is the right choice! We stayed 3 nights and loved it. The owner and the staff were pleasant. Definitely need a car !!! Its in the hills/I would say villa in the Jungle. Stunning place. It feel like home. You can relax in a quiet terrace away from world. We had room with pool/ocean view. Can’t recommend enough. Would come back definitely. "Hotel very dated. Rooms are awful. Sink blocked, no tv for 2 days, lizards crawling up the walls, no laundry bags in room, tea & coffee not topped up daily, crockery not removed from the room after used. Only 2 bottles of water per day complementary. La Cardinal restaurant had the same boring breakfast selection daily and the charged €55 per person for a lousy dinner buffet. Definitely not a five star as stated on some websites. I wouldn’t give it a 3 star."
