"The room, the staff and the price were very good. The food was the weakest part. The choice of Mexican food was almost non existent. I dont know why so many resorts have "international cuisine". I'd really like great Mexican food in Mexico! the extra ac tidies that they advertise were also not very good - yoga on the beach, archery and volley ball. But the location and beach is great and the overall cost is much more affordable that most of the competition. "

"I recently stayed at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, and while there were some highlights, the trip started off poorly. I travel to Cabo at least twice a year and have stayed at many resorts, so I had solid expectations. Check-in was frustrating. Our room wasn’t ready, which is understandable, but we were offered and paid for an ocean view upgrade with one simple request: not to face the kids pool. When we finally got our room around 4pm, it was facing the kids pool anyway. We had to go back downstairs and resolve it, which took additional time and effort and interrupted the start of our stay. This should have been handled correctly from the beginning. I had also sent a message ahead of time noting it was my wife’s birthday, but there was no acknowledgment upon arrival or during our stay, which was disappointing and made the experience feel less personal. On a positive note, Oswaldo and Axel (bellmen) were great. Ramon at the lobby bar was fantastic. Hacienda restaurant was our favorite—great food and excellent service from Esteban. The standout was Pedro Chavez at the swim-up bar, who was professional, energetic, and truly elevated our experience. Another Pedro there also provided great service. At checkout, I noticed other guests upset about check-in as well. For a resort of this caliber, this needs to be a priority fix moving forward and improve first impressions."

"Everything was fine. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the lack of sea swimming. The waves were too big and the beach was unfriendly. I wish there was a beach, of course, because people go to Mexico to swim in the sea."
