"Could use an upgrade, no breakfast a little ghetto."

"I was in need of a hotel room at relatively short notice for a basketball tournament that I was refereeing. I came across the Finger Lakes Inn as it was just a short drive away from where the tournament was being held. Nestled in the Adirondack, it is a pleasant and quaint place to stay. If you like the modern "cookie cutter" hotels this is not it. The rooms have a "cabin in the woods" feel to them, and I mean that is a very good way. The restaurant is very pleasant and my food was excellent....

"Everything was spectacular. The view of the lake from the deck was breathtaking. We had a one night stay here and we couldn’t enjoy the activities due to the weather on that day but we were allowed to enjoy the kayaking swimming in the lake the nest day despite our stay was expired which was the best part for us. "We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. The room was relatively comfortable and warm but there was a good amount of dust under the furniture. The bed was thin but firm and comfortable but there were only two thin pillows for two guests. "My husband surprised me with a trip here for our 18th wedding anniversary, and we had a wonderful stay. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always willing to help. The lodge is located right on the lake, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious and provided a variety of choices each morning. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it."
