Hotel is beautifully restored, room was clean and bed was comfortable, although wasn't a fan of the glass wall between shower and bedroom.
I won't stay here again, however, because I was initially given a key to someone else's room. When my key didn't work on the room initially assigned to me, I returned to the front desk for help. The same staff person who had just checked me in informed me, smiling, that the room was actually occupied by another party. No apology, no apparent concern that she tried to send me to another person's room. (The front desk wasn't busy when I checked in, and I wasn't in a rush. There's no reason the staff couldn't have checked the room was already occupied before sending me there.)
I'm a solo female traveler, and this is a red flag. I won't be back.
