Top Bakken's Pond State Natural Area Hotel Reviews
Cedarberry Inn
8/10 Good
"Let me say, right off, that it was a clean place, the staff was great and it was priced right. Not a deal breaker, but there were minor damages in plumbing fixtures and the furniture seemed outdated. The "continental breakfast" and dining room could see improvements in layout and quality. The tables and chairs were basic and utilitarian, low cost-low quality foods, no signage to direct weary travelers to where food and stuffs could be found. Awkward layout of food prep/offering locations scattered around the room. And where's the coffee? Oh, it's out in the hallway around the corner. Good enough to stay--just don't expect too much."
"I had my DoorDash order taken by another guest from outside my room.
By the time the staff reviewed the cameras and figured out what room they were in, they had eaten nearly all the food.
The hotel did reimburse me back the cost of the DoorDash order.
Thank you. 😊"
"Not an upscale hotel, but very nice for what it is. The staff clearly work to make a good experience. The indoor pool that connects to the outdoor pool is fun."
"While the staff was helpful in securing adjoining rooms for us, the overall experience was marred by a lack of attention to detail.
While the room was generally clean, the bathroom was clearly in need of a deep, professional scrub. The biggest issue, however, was the breakfast. It did not meet brand standards in the slightest. We were faced with a selection of cold cereal, frozen pancakes, and Sam’s Club-style frozen burritos. With only two unappetizing boiled eggs on offer, it was clear that very little investment or effort went into this service. It was an extremely poor display that didn't feel like a professional hotel breakfast at all.
Management needs to address both the deep-cleaning protocols in the bathrooms and the quality of their food service, as this experience was well below what I’ve come to expect from Wyndham. "
