Great hotel in Old City

This place was nice clean and right in the heart of the Old City. Very easy to explore from this location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very basic but does the job to start you off during the day.

Recommended

Staffs were very kind and friendly. Though breakfast starts from 8am, I requested them to have it a bit earlier as I was supposed to be picked up by a tour operator just 8 o’clock. They tried their best what they can do to meet my request. My room was clean and everything was well maintained. Location of this hotel is in the heart of Old Town and very convenient for strolling around the area.

DO NOT Trust the owner, On January 28th I booked a 3 night stay 8th-11th of April. Upon arrival I was told I did not have a reservation, I showed my Orbitz confirmation, then he told me I had cancelled it, I never did, then he told me they were sold out, no offer to find me another hotel or any help, I refused to leave; an hour later then miraculously he found the confirmation email, but only had a room for 2 nights, my last night would be 1 hour away in a dingy 2:5 star sister hotel called Miraj hotel, He offered to pay my metro card, (thanks, I got it), now he is disputing this and dragging his feet and refusing to refund the difference. Ironically I work in the hospitality industry and this is terrible ownership in my professional opinion, stay somewhere else or risk this happening to you on your holiday. I cannot believe you would treat a guest like this. If I had wanted to stay in a Soviet era built area I would not have booked in the Old City.

Standart odaların manzarası yok, iki bina arası boşluk (çöplük) manzarası var. Yakında AVM ve gezilecek bir çok turistik mekân var o yüzden konumu güzel. Resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar ellerinden geldiğince yardımcı oldular. Fakat kahvaltı için terasa çıktığımızda kendimize çay alırken otel çalışanı tarafından "cıkcık"lanmamız can sıkıcıydı. Sebebi ise pis bardakları kaynar su ile yıkamamız. Anlaşılacağı üzere kahvaltı salonu hijyeni zayıf ayrıca kahvaltı imkanları yetersiz. Odalar temiz değil ancak ısınma ve sıcak su problemi yaşamadık. Sonuç olarak fiyatına göre ortalamanın altında bir otel.

Ruhige Lage und nur zum Schlafen ausreichend

Nur zum Schlafen völlig ausreichend. Durch die Lage innerhalb der alten Stadtmauern absolut ruhig ( kaum Fahrzeuge ). Wenn es morgens einen Toaster und stärkeren Kaffee gegeben hätte, wäre ein Stern bei der Bewertung dringewesen. Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Kaffee und Toaster wurde an der Rezeption angesprochen.

Great place to stay. Just get dropped off at the old town gates and walk less than 100m to the hotel. After going through the gates then turn right immediately. Then take a left on the next corner with the restaurants.

I loved this little hotel! The people are so friendly, accommodating, helpful, personable - it is very well located to simply walk out your door into the old city. Det er et billigere hotell. Du får alt du betaler for. Hyggelig, god betjening, villig til å hjelpe, fleksibel rengjøring, god frokost (hvis du vil). Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet!! Hvis du (som meg denne gangen) er ute etter å utforske Baku, kan du ikke finne et bedre hotell. Midt i gamlebyen, kort vandring til down-town og alt som finnes der. Du kommer til alt etter fem minutters gange fra rommet. Du får et rom med TV og Wi-Fi, frokost ... Og du får en utrolig hyggelig betjening. Mitt beste tips: Bestill transport fra/til flyplass via dette hotellet!! De er mye billigere. Når du ankommer Baku kaster pirat-taxiene seg over deg. De vil ha €40-70/70-100 Manat for å kjøre deg. Hotellet ordner transport til halve prisen. To tomler opp til dette hotellet. Og neste gang jeg drar til Baku skal jeg tilbake hit :)

Замечательный отель

Просто замечательнейший отель в самом центре старого города. Сотрудники отеля все отзывчивые, готовые решить все Ваши проблемы. Номер отличный, все в идеальном состоянии, имеется кухонная зона. Завтраки на крыше в виде веранды, все скромненько, но со вкусом.

Отличный отель, находиться в старом городе. Отличное обслуживание. Единственный минус - это однообразное меню завтрака и он слишком рано начинается и заканчивается.
