"Hotel Heron is ideally located in the middle of Old Town Alexandria. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Kiln onsite restaurant was very good. We did have a couple issues with the room attendant who forgot to replace our wash cloths and made the bed with two top sheets instead of using a bottom fitted sheet. "Overall, my experience at this hotel wasn't terrible, but it was a bit disappointing given my high expectations. I absolutely love the area, which is one of the reasons I chose to stay here, but the hotel itself didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for. "We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn at the Harbor in Oxon Hill. Breakfast was enjoyable. The atmosphere was a whole vibe. And they validate parking in the garage which is The staff, especially Tish, was so nice and pleasant. We recommend this place and will stay again. Also, we door dashed last night from Cadillac Ranch which is across the street. We are good, relaxed, and had a good Ole time."
