"Beautiful ocean view from our room. The parking situation sucks but it is spring break. Very convenient to have free breakfast in the morning and a beach bar for Mom and Dad lol Only wish we could've stayed longer!"
"My 2 biggest problems with the room was 1) The bed felt like you was sleeping on a capital letter “A”. If you didnt sleep in the middle you’d roll off either side. Some of the springs in the bed would stab you like little alarm clocks if you rolled during your sleep. 2) The bottom corner of outside the shower was black like mold gas started to grow from water leaking out of shower. But the room was decent, everything seemed to be clean. You can see the beach from the blvdveiw rooms, just do not have a big balcony like the balcony view ones. The room has a TV, Microwave & a small Refrigerator. Kid friendly. Parts of the furniture was chipping or had pieces of its vinyl top missing. You can nitpick a lot of things but for the price it’s decent for a college kids spring break."
"We just stayed here for 2 nights and had a bit of a mixed experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mr. Mike, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He truly made a positive impact on our stay and is a big part of why our visit turned out as well as it did.
That said, we were initially disappointed with our room. The hotel itself seems quite dated, and there were several maintenance concerns—there was a red stain on the nightstand, some broken shelving, a bathroom door lock that didn’t work, and the ceiling above the bathtub appeared to have been previously damaged (possibly mold) and just painted over.
We were also told the pool was heated, but the following day learned the heat pump had gone out the day prior, which was disappointing. Although, I do understand that they don’t work well during spring.
On a positive note, Mr. Mike kindly surprised us with complimentary breakfast during our stay and even late check out, which we truly appreciated. The poolside bar was another highlight—the Pink Flamingo drink was amazing, and the bartender working on 3/19 (I didn’t catch her name) was so friendly and personable. She made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, while there were definitely some issues with the condition of the hotel, the staff—especially Mr. Mike and the bartender—made a lasting positive impression. I hope this review reaches who it’s meant to and I hope that the employees mentioned get some recognition for helping outweigh the negatives. "
"The staff could use help in the mornings with breakfast. There is only ever one person sometimes, two, keeping up with the breakfast area when it has a lot of traffic last time we were there the floors were sticky, and the juice was empty. With travel Volleyball we have stayed there about five times within the last two months."
