"Bathroom had hair on wall in shower Shower head was moldy and only a little water came through it No wheeled carts to help with luggage Walls were thin could hear the persons next door talking and going to the bathroom "

"Parking was difficult and though she tried to accommodate an early breakfast, fruit was green and dairy was warm "

"We got a warm welcome from the staff at reception when we arrived which set the scene for a lovely relaxed stay. Our room was clean, well equipped, quiet with a nice view of the garden. We had a nice evening meal in the bar restaurant with excellent service and our breafast was all we could wish for. Wish we were able have stayed a bit longer. Will definitely be back. "

"Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. "

"Right in the village close to the pubs they have. Parking free and easy. No staff on, all automated. Interior ok but a little dated. For one night though it was perfect."

"The room was great size for three people. It included a sitting area and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as well. Con: you will have to go through the restaurant in order to check in if you park in Th e back of the restaurant .That can be a bit daunting for you and the restaurant patrons. If possible try check in by the main entrance and get parking in front of the hotel instead of in the back to unload luggage."

"I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. If I needed water for the kettle or wash my hands after toilet-down the stairs I went. This is not a lodge, it is someone’s home. I was very uncomfortable. WiFi worked as did the TV. No...

We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. "We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space."
