"We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests. It was nice to have access to a fridge to keep drinks cold, but we were expecting a homemade breakfast."

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Ireland. Everyone was nice. The room and views were amazing. Loved having a nice restaurant right downstairs, so we didn't have to leave in bad weather for food. The location was close to the train station to ride into Belfast. The area has plenty of shopping and dining, so you could easily stay for a few days without being bored. I would 100% stay again!"

"Booked a double room, it was small & compact & double bed took up most of the room but still had space to walk from each side of the bed. Bathroom was functional offering spacious shower, clean white towels were provided. TV on the wall which could be watched from sitting/lying on the bed. Room didn't provide a dressing table but a wall mirror to enable to do hair/makeup or use of the bathroom mirror. "Rooms and hotel lobby and breakfast buffet were great. Comfortable beds and very helpful and responsive front desk. Lots of parking on sight. Very close to Stormont castle with its beautiful grounds (across the street!). Would stay again. The gym facilities needs to be walked to which is a little inconvenient. (Five to ten minutes and across the road). And the traffic outside can be busy at rush hour. But the bus is very handy to downtown right on the street."

"Checking in the lady was very nice and helpful room was spotless breakfast is absolutely brilliant plenty of food very helpful if you asked for scrambled eggs there was no problem loads to choose from between the cold buffet and the hot buffet hot food was piping hot would definitely stay here again you can walk down to the town it it was just around corner from the hotel plenty of spaces in carpark as Hotel could see my car from my bedroom window "

"We had a really lovely time at La Mon. The hotel and it's grounds are stunning. We spent most of our time in the pool. My daughter loved all the different sections of the pool and I especially loved the jacuzzi. We had a very relaxing stay and the staff were amazing."

"Nice size room with comfortable bed, nice shower and a sitting area (although the couch was not very comfortable). The mini fridge was actually a wine cooler so not cold. Very nice pool and fitness area. The location is beautiful although a bit far from the city center yet is walking distance to a lovely regional national park - good for hiking."
