The shared shower was reasonable with hot and powerful enough showers. All rooms have padlock in which you take the key. Negative points. The rooms have no sound proofing at all. "None of the listed amenities actually exist. No pool. No spa. Horrible location way out on the edge of town. On the positive side, the girl at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me get a train ticket out of Lao Cai. I was going to stay three nights but left after one. Also the bed was nice and comfortable after a few weeks of hard traveling. "A beautiful view that changes as the day progresses. It's such a calming experience when compared to the pace and noise of Sapa. Being walking distance from both a Hmong and a Dao village. The restaurant breakfast has an ever changing menu and you overlook the rice fields and the Lau Chai village below. We took advantage of the spa and infinity pool that were both exquisite experiences. It's pricier than many accommodations in the region but you get good value for your money."

"Overall a pleasant experience staying here. The rooms were spacious and they cleaned them well daily. The location is excellent, right beside the lake and a few minutes walk into the heart of sapa village. The only downside was the bed which was not comfortable - I could feel the springs - and the pool wasn't clean, although it's not exactly swimming weather atm (mid 20'). Staff were excellent and breakfast was decent with lots of fruit and cooked options"
