"This hotel is fronted by an attractive historic building that creates an impressive first impression both externally and in reception. Staff were pleasant throughout my stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel failed to live up to that impression. Much of the newer accommodation feels dated, signage is confusing and poor, lift access difficult to find and the temperature was somehow both too hot and too cold on an autumn day.
Hotel parking is available, but access is through an exceptionally...

"Very clean and well kept lake and accommodation.
Great set up and not overlooked or overcrowded like other places.
Regular updates on day of arrival, Friendly staff. Hot tub was set up ready for arrival.
Fishing wasn’t too bad, no big fish but plenty of small stuff to keep busy if you can find a non weedy spot."

"The house was wonderful!! Waking up and having coffee and seeing the alpacas outside was my favorite part. Air conditioning in the bedrooms a plus!! Very friendly hosts. Will def come back!"
