Very reasonable for a weekend stay. It was an easy drive to activities we wanted to do in the area. The room was neat and clean. Loved having a kitchenette. The staff was very quick to respond to our questions. I would recommend the property.

When we arrived at the hotel, I was initially disappointed by the outside appearance. I called the number to check in. A lady showed up quick and got us our key. Inside, the rooms were nice and clean. It was well taken care of and comfortable. There is a complete kitchen. Fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and stocked with utensils, plates and cups. I would have liked a larger tv but that was not that big of an issue.

Reserved 2 rooms for family, to stay over for the holiday. Both were very clean and comfortable. Nice and warm, and quiet! Very happy…would do this again in a heartbeat!

Expedia said it was near Lava Falls: it isn't. It is in the middle of a no where town that died like 100 years ago. Right next to train tracks: Expedia & Hotel didn't disclaim that. No average or even below average shopping. Most buildings were vacant or condemned it appeared. Honestly it looked like something like Bates Motel. We booked 2 nights, cancelled 1 upon seeing the location & surroundings and didn't stay in the place the other night.

I am sorry we didn't fit your expectations we are 15 minutes away from lava hot springs ( that is the name of the town) and bancroft it is a very safe, clean and quiet town, we recommend you next time do a research before you make a reservation in a place you haven't stay before. We stayed at this property to be close to Lava Springs (20 minutes). Overall it met our expectations. The hotel is in a quaint little town with less than 250 ppl in the middle of large fields. There were no food options, the closest is Lava SPrings or Soda Springs. There is a bar in the next lane but it was closed due to July-4 holiday. I would stay again for the quiet little town. The property was clean and there are laundry machines too for use.

The room it’s self was very clean and had everything we needed. Shower was like a massager, it was so strong :) Felt good! We didn’t realize that it was so far out, but not a bad thing necessarily. Train went through about 3-4 times through the night. And maybe let people know that no one is there to meet you?

Looked old from the outside but was nice on the inside. Only issue was a small leak in bathroom sealing. Definitely better than I expected so we were very happy with our stay. We would definitely return.

For sleep or friendly service stay ANYWHERE else!
Tess was rude, unhelpful and offered crap service! The floor looked like it had never EVER been mopped, the toilet felt like it was going to tip over, the railroad tracks that are only 50 ft from the hotel, are very active and the trains go by blasting the horn at least 15 times through the night. This was a TERRIBLE experience!!!

This is a wonderful place. Clean practical full suze stove and refrigerator. All the needed utensils for cooking. This is nice to have when traveling. Friendly housekeeper. Easy checkin. You call a number get a code to get your key out if lock box. Its off beaten path no places to eat. There is a train but did not bother us. If light sleeper it may. Highly recommended. Close t Lava HotSprings.

Pulling up to this Motel our first reaction was "its been abandoned" looked at a note on the door of the laundry room and found instructions for check in. Once in the room was a game changer, rooms are so cute and clean. I think an explanation of how the check in is handled here would be very beneficial to others. Hopefully the property owners will update the outside to match the inside. Very cute small town.

Super Cute Roadside Motel
Such a cute little roadside motel. The rooms are small but beautiful and still have a little kitchen in them which is super helpful. They owners/managers really seem to care that you have a good experience and that the property serves you well. It only took us about 10 ish minutes to get to Lava Hot Springs. Our little room was a very welcoming addition to the end of fun and adventurous days.

Nothing mention anything about a train that goes by ALL thru the night and keeps us up. A very terrible stay at this place.

I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, the train is a situation that is out of our hands to fix, I recommend you to research the area where you plan to book a room, that way you know what's around the hotel. The train goes by all Caribou County and the next counties. Thank you for staying with us.

This places is ridiculous there is no front desk you have to call to get a code that supposedly works on the door and then put your fingerprint in then you have to go in and hunt down your key and a locker that they put it in but you also have to have the code for however you have to have Internet service and it’s in the middle of nowhere so you get no service and then they still expect you to pay when you can’t get a room key after an hour of trying. Worst Hotels.com experience of my life we wound up not staying she still charged us even though it was their fault

Dear Melinda, I am sorry that you didn't liked the way we check people in, we do send a confirmation e-mail that you probably didn't took the time to read and we do explained that we do not have an office on site, that they need to call the number on the confirmation e-mail to get a code to get into your room and also I recommend doing a research of were you are planning on doing your reservation so it doesn't happen to you again. And we did not charge you for the night if you check your bank account it should be there even though we do have the right to charge a guest for cancelling a room the same day.

Our room was exceptionally clean. The comfort of the bed made for getting a good night rest. The shower a little small. And coffee in the room to go with the coffee maker would have been nice.

Enjoyed the stay.
We arrived and didn't know how to check in. We called the number on the sign and only got constant busy signals. We arrived around 9pm. Cell reception (t mobile) was almost non existent. Looked up phone number online and called that number and talked a couple minutes before connection was totally lost. Drove about a hundred feet to show some signal again and finally got instructions on how to get the key. Room was great. Nice kitchen, large refrigerator/freezer. Everything you need or want in a room. The radiator heating keep the room nice and warm. Shower was powerful and as hot as you could possibly want. Beds were not very comfortable but typical for most hotels. Overall, nice place.

Great place to stay
Great motel. Trying to check-in was a little difficult and also the trains through out the night were a little rough, but overall I would stay there again. Great price and they are really nice inside for what your paying.

What a GREAT old time hotel experience. This out of the way location is a perfect gem. My kids loved it. The outside looks small but inside, the rooms are spacious. Our room had a full size kitchen complete with stove. ALSO a great price and worth the couple minutes extra drive.
