"’Grand’ is a devalued word in Hotel speak, but this Hotel really is in a laid back way. It sprawls around its exquuisite gardens with ITS generous verndhered walkways with an extravgnce which no Hotel accountant would sanction today. They hyve building works which encroach slightly but not much. A truly beautiful Placebolta to ne with a staff to match."

"On arrival the staff were very attentive bringing cold towel drinks and cakes , showed to our room and explained where everything was , room was replenished two or three times a day as needed water , towels coffee and tea etc Pool area was clean and well serviced straight onto the beach from the pool area lovely clean sands and warm sea Breakfast was sensational excellent choice of food again staff were very good All in all an excellent hotel would highly recommend ."

"Hotel is in a good location with quite an imposing lobby area. It raises expectations which ultimately are not fully delivered. Bedrooms of good size with adequate en-suite. Pool is large therefore good….but very unimaginative in its setting. Breakfast area is pleasant and breakfast options neither the best or worst. The roof top bar seems permanently closed. And that’s the problem - it could offer more but it doesn’t. Felt like an empty mausoleum. Good value price though which makes it likely I will consider returning"
