"If you want to explore the "old city" of Bangkok, this is a very good hotel for you. You can walk to the Grand Palace, The National Museum, The National Gallery, Thammasat University,The Queens Museum...you can walk to the river boat cruise...as well as places like Adhere the 13th Blues Club - a very cool place. Himalaya Coffee is nearby - lots of coffee shops etc. I wanted to save money so I took a room with no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan was good enough. Good bed, roomy room, cleaning if you want it, hot water in the shower...and you can find places to get your clothing cleaned. I was also able to find a place on 2 soi Samsen toward Samsen itself where I could take a mini-bus to the airport at the end. The only problem was the spotty wifi - I think you can pay them for really good wifi, but what I did was to get a new sim card with unlimited minutes and I used my cell phone's hotspot for wifi when the hotel's wasn't working. In sum, if you want to save money and explore the Old City - this is the hotel for you. "

"Nuovo City Hotel is Superb. Great staff, so helpful. Lovely property, rooftop pool and gym. Area is great with many nice restaurants and rooftop cafes to eat at. Location is to walk to key sights. Only down side is 30 mins walk to nearest MRT but a new line is under construction so that will fix that in a couple of years. In the meantime, Grab! Breakfast could be better as a little basic. Other wise, excellent hotel. "

"My go-to hotel in Bankok. Lovely staff, great rooftop pool and bar/restaurant, convenient location right next to express and tourist boat shuttles. Across from side street to Khaosan Road and restaurants. Local bus right in front, also 3 7-11s on the block. Can’t ask for anything more."

"The front desk personnel were excellent, friendly, attentive and accommodating. Nina and Pink provided great service and very pleasant to deal with. Other staff members were very good and helpful. We loved the decor and have an amazing dinner on the rooftop with the view of the Wat Arun. The Thai fusion dishes were superb."

Quartier animé le jour grâce au marché local que nous avons adoré et où nous avons excellemment bien mangé en compagnie des Thaï. Calme et tranquille en soirée et nuit pour bien récupérer du tumulte de Bangkok. Nous recommandons !"
