"Bed was comfortable and the views over the bay were fantastic. Free parking was a nice benefit, and it was great being close to town and the park but having it be quiet at night. It was, like I think all accommodations in the area during high season, ridiculously overpriced for a very average hotel, but that just is what it is for the season. I’m sure in shoulder season it’s priced well, and I’d stay here again in shoulder season. One thing that I think could be improved is if they offered some breakfast options before 7 AM, especially because many people in the area are visiting to hike in the national park and will be leaving early. There wasn’t even an option to pick up a granola bar before the set breakfast hours, which meant I didn’t get to use that amenity. I wasn’t expecting to get breakfast outside breakfast hours, so I wasn’t shocked or upset, but it would have been really nice if the hotel set up even a very simple grab-and-go option for travelers leaving early in the morning. Just noting as much here so other travelers are aware."

"Acadia Hotel is lovely. I like the charm of older buildings, anyway, but it was also clean, the breakfast was pretty good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed, in my opinion, as it's less than ten minutes from Acadia National Park, and is right on the green in Bar Harbor (literally, you just walk out the door and Bar Harbor's main area is right in front of you). The parking is also definitely a plus."
