The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers."

"What a welcoming and lovely property! My only lament— the stay was too short! The staff is professional and friendly. The property is well maintained, with ample parking. The location is perfect—on a quiet street that is close enough to walk to the historic center and a short drive to an Acadia Park entrance. Bonus— there is air conditioning, if needed. The property is equipped for those with mobility challenges as well, which was important. We’re looking forward to returning!"

"This is our go to spot for our annual Bar Harbor trip for about 8 years now. It’s a toss up between the main building (more expensive but lovely rooms and very nice breakfast) and the motel (more Spartan and no breakfast but less expensive and still comfortable) every year, but we are happy with either - just depends on availability and my wallet. Easy walk to a coffee and breakfast spot (Choco-latte but get there super early or place an order ahead as the line gets long) and the village...

"We loved our balcony view of the town! Rooms were clean, well lit, and air conditioned! Hotel parking (although limited) was a huge bonus! Staff wasn’t very helpful as none had worked there very long."

"The location was very convenient and within walking distance of everything! Our tour was able to pick us up from the motel due to its proximity to Acadia. Check in was a breeze! would recommend this place to anyone going to Bar Harbor!"

"Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart...

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure.
