Ryokan in Barahona Province

Great small hotel around a km from the centre of Barahona. A special mention to the fantastic owners who kindly offered us a full refund on a late cancellation even though they were not obliged to. Recommended.

The hotel is in a really lovely location overlooking the Caribbean. The most expensive rooms are superb - not sure about the others as I have not seen them. The meals could be a bit better. The pizzas are very good, and some dishes were great, but we had a couple of disappointing meals.

La experiencia en el hotel fue mixta. Las habitaciones son aceptables, cumplen, aunque sin destacar especialmente. En cuanto al personal, hubo una diferencia muy marcada en el trato. Los empleados hombres y la señora del gift shop fueron amables y correctos en todo momento. Queremos destacar especialmente a Eduardo y Pantera, que tuvieron una atención excelente y muy profesional.
