"A characterful, charming hotel in the centre of Beaumaris. In cooler months it would be lovely to use the sitting room to read and relax. Our twin room was comfortable and the only thing I'd ask for is for the bathroom window to be fixed so that only the top sash could open; there are seagulls prowling outside! "Lovely hotel. Car park was full so had to wait for a space. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of Hot & cold foods to choose from. Had Sunday roast beef dinner. Partner had sea bass. Plus a cheeky dessert. Good menu for food & drinks Really fab food. Staff where very smiley and friendly. The Grand stair case was amazing. "In the first room 87 I think we had something underneath the carpet beside the bed. I did report it. I didn’t like having to take my bags through the streets to the room but could’ve easily been done by the people there. I didn’t realise that you had to go 100 yards down the road to go to the room. "Firstly, location is perfect. Just on the edge of the village and the start of the Llanberis path is right outside, so no driving or parking charges if you intend walking Snowdon on this route. After arriving at the hotel I was asked to pay for the parking (£10/night) First of all charging hotel guests for the parking is ridiculous but even worse when I’ve heard that if you book the room with hotel directly then parking is free but booked through Expedia is not… the same guest - different treatment. It’s a scam. Room itself was very dirty - all cups and cutlery in the room had stained marks, glasses in the bathroom had still toothpaste residue on them....
