"This used to be my favourite hotel in/around Muscat, but the price just far exceeds the value now. The pools are great; though unfortunately, despite being informed at check-in that we had access to all the pools, a significant section of the pool was in fact roped off.
Because the staff at check-in did not inform/ask me if I wanted to put a credit card on file, the restaurant called my room at 8:30pm to inform that someone would come to my room immediately so I could pay for dinner (which I’d...

"Our stay unfortunately began with a terrible check-in experience - two of our assigned rooms were infested with bugs. Given the luxury reputation of the Mandarin Oriental brand, this left a massive sour taste in our mouths. To their credit, management handled it as expected, promptly offering alternative rooms so we could settle in.
Once resolved, our stay genuinely got much better...

"I had a pleasant stay at IntercityHotel Muscat. The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly, professional, and always helpful. The location is also convenient for getting around Muscat.
