I’ve have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It used to be very good. 7 years after my last stay I am disappointed with the lack of maintenance in the rooms. I got a junior suite, 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. There was a sewer-like smell in the rooms and several plumbing issues. The sink was clogged, the toilets did not flush properly, and there was visible mold or humidity on the walls.
On the first night, there was a strong plumbing or sewer odor, to the point that I had to open the bathroom windows to ventilate the space. Overall, I found the rooms to be quite neglected in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.
I understand that the hotel is old and that renovations have been made over time; however, the most important aspects are room and bathroom cleanliness, and unfortunately, this fell short during my stay.
