"We read reviews as to what to expect, and we got exactly that. The stand out the member of staff was Jose, who was head and shoulders above other members of the Hotel team. The initial room had a stench about it when we first walked in, but given the room has quite nice views, we decided to put the smell down to the room perhaps not being aired, so decided not to say anything. "The property is attractive and generally comfortable. Sadly I did see a cockroach in my bathroom, which scared me and stopped me sleeping for a night. I did message a maintenance man who was very friendly and laid some insect powder and emptied the bin the next morning. Also the shower flooded after 2 mins of use so I had to remove the plug whilst I used it and put it back afterwards as I think the cockroach may have come from the drain. "This is the most unusual, in a good way, "Hotel" that I've ever stayed in. It was a lovely place to stay for eight days. Did quite a bit of sightseeing during the day and also went into Silva to eat at restaurants and do shopping as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone."
