"Gorgeous property with amazing hosts. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our host is an awesome cook and prepared a delicious dinner for us (on request) the first night. He also shared his fabulous homemade fortified wine. Our room was very comfortable, had access to a living area, full kitchen and patio. "Great location. Elevator was not working more than it was working. Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail."
