An amazing stay. The room was clean and spacious. The swimming pool area and gardens were immaculate and the quality of food and service at the restaurant was exceptional.

An amazing hotel, situated in a quiet area. The accommodation was comfortable, cosy (weather was not good, cold &very windy). The lady who checked us in was really friendly, spoke good English. The restaurant was beautiful, exposed stone walls, lovely open fire, food was to die for. Waitresses also friendly and very attentive. Only a couple of very small negatives, bedroom had quite a few moths flying around and the bathroom sliding door could do with a like of paint to match the beautiful...

The online reviews swayed us to stay in this beautiful hotel. Initially we were a little reluctant because it is over the river from the main town of Avignon. We were only staying for one night before continuing our journey to Antibes and we didn't want too much hassle the following morning to get to the train station. It is a short walk to the bus stop and the local bus takes less than 10 mins to take you into the centre of Avignon.
We were not disappointed at all and after an evening meal...

Absolutely breathtaking property, tucked away in the bustling city of Avignon. From the moment we arrived, Jean-Luc and Valérie were incredibly welcoming and couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable.
We had the best night's sleep we've had in ages – the bed was so comfortable, and the whole house is full of charm and character. We absolutely loved our (far too short!) stay and only wished we could have stayed longer.
We'll definitely be back, and next time we'll be booking for much...

Truly an exceptional place. The house and our room (Naples) was like a dream. Even in winter where the outdoor facilities (pool etc) are not usable, there's nothing negative to say. It was worth the expense.

The hotel Garlande is a great little hotel in the heart of Avignon. It is set in a cobbled backstreet close to the Papal Palace. The rooms are nice (we had a 3rd floor family room). It oozes charm and is quaint (we had to climb a spiral staircase to our room). The people running the hotel are amazing and are what makes this a place to defiantly visit. From discussing restaurants (and booking them for us) to advising on Provence places to visit, they couldn't do enough. The breakfasts were great,...

A peaceful, beautifully appointed hotel a short walk from the village centre, in the hills above. Very quiet, with its own pool and lovely garden. Excellent friendly and professional staff in departments. Food very good indeed - mediterranean in style and ingredients, just the right quantity, well thought out and carefulĺy delivered. We had the fixed price dinner, and there is also a la carte, which looks great but is beyond our price range. The village is just across the river from old Avignon,...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Regina Hotel. I thought it offered excellent value for money and its location was just superb. A 10 minute flat walk from the station past the main shops and tourist office. Just past the hotel and in you're surrounded by excellent eateries and all the key attractions are a short walk away.
All the staff - especially the night porter - were helpful when a problem was encountered. The bed was comfortable - although it had a leg splayed sideways which I only...

We had the family room and was very spacious for us. Room was clean and the staff very friendly. Location was great too.
We’d recommend staying here if in Avignon for a few nights like we were.
Only improvement we would suggest is a small fridge in the room for drinks but appreciate it wasn’t advertised in the booking but feel it would make a difference.

This was one of only 2 lettings at the property, a roomy 2 room suite. It is a period property. Stairs are a little steep. Rooms were charming, with plenty of space and the owner's original artwork around. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and also charming. The location is easy for the sights, such as the Palais des Papes, and a little over 15 minutes walk from the central station. It's on a quiet backstreet, (though we did hear some noisy people about 2 am each night for a few minutes - bit...
