"This hotel was good but the photos did not match. The walls are popcorn walls and the floor is old tiles. It’s a clean place though. I didn’t like the part when at the pool we cannot bring our own water, coffee or drinks. We had to buy something from the pool to to drink anything. The staff were nice "

"The pool area is beautiful with an amazing beach view. The staff are amazing especially Mariana from the front desk. Any issues, they quickly and effectively solve it. There's an amazing bar that sits on the 51st floor. I'm going to mark this as my go to place every time I visit Colombia. The beach is litterarly in front of the Hotel. There's also great security around the area, so safety is not a concern. There's also malls, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, and more walking distance. The hotel is located in the perfect area. Just watch out for the people that work in the beach: They are not part of the hotel, just local people that crazily over charge the tourists. Learn your Colombian pesos very quickly. Don't buy your souvenirs from the locals at the beach, go to the Mercado instead. Either way, if they know you are not Colombian, the locals will over charge you. But like I said, the hotel have nothing to do with the locals and unfortunately, every beach in Colombia have those local sellers. Book your tours directly from the port not via the people who approach you in the street, they will over charge you. This is my 3rd time in Cartagena and this has been the best stay so far and I plan to stay here again. Enjoy! "

"The location of the hotel is indeed secluded, with virtually no surrounding amenities. While the beach staff were courteous and attentive—particularly Edwin, who demonstrated exceptional service and professionalism—this was unfortunately the only positive aspect of the stay. The condition of the hotel is deeply concerning. The property is severely outdated and exhibits clear signs of neglect. There was visible mold throughout the pool area, particularly around the slide pool, posing a potential health hazard. Additionally, multiple tiles were missing inside the pool, and the surfaces were extremely slippery, creating a dangerous environment. As a direct result of these unsafe conditions, I suffered a fall while walking in the pool area. Paramedics were called to assess my condition; however, there was a complete lack of any follow-up or incident management by the hotel. I sustained a shoulder injury and significant abrasions to my knee, yet no apology, acknowledgment, or concern was expressed by the staff or management. This level of negligence, both in terms of facility maintenance and guest care, is unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding the hotel’s commitment to safety and basic standards of hospitality. "
